It has been a long and arduous process, but I have finally launched my plate building tool.
Wouldn’t it be cool to be able to build a layout like this on www.keyboard-layout-editor.com and then be able to have the CAD for the required plate automated for you?
Well thats my idea and I am working to build just that…
A little change in focus
Here is a case I did for my 75% board. In on this board I tapped the acrylic and did not add any spacers or anything and I mounted the PCB directly onto the acrylic. This board feels solid and very enjoyable to type on.
Here is the second prototype using foam in place of the standoffs.
This feels very good when bottoming out and the board is a lot quieter.
